Foden's launch new Junior Band

Foden's Band are proud to announce the launch of the 'Foden's Junior Band' to be run in partnership with the ‘Accent’ Music Education Hub and existing Foden’s Youth Band partners Besson and the Royal Northern College of Music.

On Saturday 5th September Sarah Lenton (the bands solo baritone player) was presented with the 'Harry Mortimer Award' prior to the results ceremony at the British Open.

British Open

On the 5th September Foden's will once again compete at the 'British Open Championship' held at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham. The 'Open' is one of the oldest and most sought after trophies in world banding and sees the top 20 brass band in the UK competing each year.

Monday 3rd August saw the start of the 15th Annual Armagh Old Boys’ Summer School led once again by 9 tutors from Foden’s Band. This year’s tutors were Richard Poole, Ian Raisbeck, Lesley Poole, Sarah Lenton, Mark Bousie, Shaun Farrington, Stewart Baglin, Anthony Mann and Michael Fowles.

Summer Break & Withington visit
