Foden's have announced that Solo Cornet player Andrew Stevenson has left Foden's to commence a career in the RAF. Over the past 3 years Andrew has been a fully committed member of Foden's whilst being a student at the RNCM.

Foden's Solo Contest 2015

Plans are well under way for the forthcoming Foden's Solo Contest (which is the largest of its kind in the UK) to be held in Sandbach on the 31st October 2015. As well as various prizes and bursaries, Glyn Williams (pictured left) will now provide a trophy for the 'most outstanding euphonium player of the day'.

David Gillson join Foden's on Flugel

Foden's are pleased to announce the signing of David Gillson as Flugel Horn Soloist. David is a previous member of Grimethorpe Band where he played Solo cornet and joins from the Fairey Band, where he held the same position, as well as covering on Principal cornet.

Glyn and Helen say goodbye to Foden's

Glyn and Helen Williams would like to announce that their combined 35 year connection with Foden's Band will come to an end this Summer as they have made the huge decision to re-locate to South Wales and to take up the Solo Euphonium and Flugel positions with the Cory Band.

On Saturday 2nd May 'Team Foden's' (Foden's and Foden's Youth) performed at Keele University. Each band performed a solo spot before combining to perform a World Premiere from Andy Stevenson of 'Tales of Myths and Legends' which takes inspiration from Cheshire's rich mythological history.
