Foden's are delighted to have been invited once again to perform at the prestigeous 'RNCM Brass Band Festival' in January 2017. The festival is regarded as one of the most important festivals of brass band music, often featuring new commissions, ground breaking performances of contemporary repertoire as well as classics of the brass band repertoire.

The RNCM Brass Band Festival is the only place to see all of Britain’s top brass bands in a non-competitive environment.

Foden's are looking forward to working with trumpeter Rex Richardson and conductor James Gourlay making the trip from the USA to appear at the Festival.

The main theme of the weekend explores the musical connections between the UK and the USA, including many brass band originals and new arrangements.

This year’s other themes include a retrospective of the work of Martin Ellerby – who celebrates his 60th birthday in 2017 as well as celebrating Howard Snell’s 80th birthday.

Foden's will be conducted by James Gourlay and Michael Fowles featuring guest soloist Rex Richardson
