On Saturday 15th October Fodens conducted by Allan Withington competed in the 'National Championship of Great Britain' held at the Royal Albert Hall, London where each band performed the set test piece 'Breath of Souls' by Paul Lovatt Cooper.

Foden's have launched what they believe is the first Brass Band 'App' for the Iphone. Speaking about the launch Mark Wilkinson said ' We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of the Foden's App which has been designed by Soprano player Richard Poole.

British Open 2011

On Saturday Fodens competed at the 'British Open Championships' held at the Symphony Hall Birmingham against 16 of the 'best' bands in the United Kingdom. Each band performed the set test piece 'Red Priest' composed originally for the Black Dyke Band in 2009 by Philip Wilby.
