On the 5th September Foden's will once again compete at the 'British Open Championship' held at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham. The 'Open' is one of the oldest and most sought after trophies in world banding and sees the top 20 brass band in the UK competing each year.

Summer Break & Withington visit

Foden's have announced that Solo Cornet player Andrew Stevenson has left Foden's to commence a career in the RAF. Over the past 3 years Andrew has been a fully committed member of Foden's whilst being a student at the RNCM.

Foden's Solo Contest 2015

Plans are well under way for the forthcoming Foden's Solo Contest (which is the largest of its kind in the UK) to be held in Sandbach on the 31st October 2015. As well as various prizes and bursaries, Glyn Williams (pictured left) will now provide a trophy for the 'most outstanding euphonium player of the day'.

Foden's and Foden's Youth Team Up

On Saturday 2nd May 'Team Foden's' (Foden's and Foden's Youth) performed at Keele University. Each band performed a solo spot before combining to perform a World Premiere from Andy Stevenson of 'Tales of Myths and Legends' which takes inspiration from Cheshire's rich mythological history.
