Blue Chip Venture

Fodens Band today announced that their long search for a high quality business sponsor has ended following the successful negotiation of a partnership agreement with the highly respected blue chip company, Richardson Developments of Oldbury, Birmingham.

Commenting on the new sponsorship arrangement, Fodens Band Chairman Colin Short said, "We are delighted to have secured this sponsorship deal with Richardson Developments. When we started our search for a sponsorship partner, the organisation gave me a resounding mandate to go out and search for a strong sponsor that would not only provide financial support to the band but also something more in terms of personal interest and involvement. This was a tall order, however there is no doubt that we have more than achieved this goal as the deal has been agreed with the founders of the company Don and Roy Richardson, who are highly respected, old established businessmen with a great deal of personal credibility. We certainly consider this association a major coupe for Fodens with the huge personal support of the Richardson brothers and now look forward to going into the National Brass Band Championship finals in the Royal Albert Hall this weekend."
