Fodens Courtois Band today announced that leading composer/arranger Ray Farr will direct them at the UK Entertainment Championships in Spennymoor on 19th November.

Commenting on the appointment, band Secretary and Assistant Principal Cornet, Pete Coulson said, "We are thrilled to have secured the services of Ray Farr for this important contest. Fodens Courtois have long been proud of their reputation as the UK's leading entertainment band and we are looking forward to going to Spennymoor with a conductor as dynamic and exciting as Ray at the helm."

Based in Norway where he is Musical Director of Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag, Ray Farr is bringing some recent Entertainment success with him after winning the Siddis Entertainment Contest in Norway with Eikanger earlier this month.
