On Friday 30th November a group of players from Fodens have been invited to perform on the radio 3 programme 'In Tune'. 'In Tune' is a popular arts programme with a listening audience of around 2 million viewers per programme.

Fodens will be featured live between 5.15pm and 5.45pm performing around 20 minutes of playing with the remaining time being used to interview Mike Fowles on the bands recent achievements as well as Fodens composer in residence Andy Scott on his recent nomination for a British Composer Award for his composition 'Spirit of Mingus' commissioned by Fodens and performed at the RNCM Festival of Brass in January this year.

Fodens are very privileged to have been asked to appear on this programme as they will be the first brass band to be featured which will hopefully raise the profile of Brass Bands.

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
