Following a successful four year partnership Foden's have announced that they have parted company with Allan Withington by mutual consent.

Speaking about the parting Mark Wilkinson commented 'All at Foden's would like to thank Allan for his four year association with Foden's. During this time we have enjoyed working with him on a number of projects as well as contest performances and have always found him to be extremely musical, professional and well prepared. The obvious high light of the association was in 2012 when the band were crowned Double Champions winning both the British Open and National Championships. After a four year association both parties have decided that now is the right time to part company but do so on the best of terms and have not ruled out working together in the future.'

Allan Withington commented 'The partnership seemed to have run its course and we were in disagreement as to the form, any future development of the band was to take. I would like to thank Foden`s for an interesting four years and will now concentrate on my playing career and other work commitments in Norway and on the continent.'

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
