On Saturday 11th October Foden's competed at the National Finals held at the Royal Albert Hall. Each of the 20 bands performed the 'set work' The Legend of King Arthur by Dr Peter Meechan.

Prior to the event Foden's held an open rehearsal on this piece on Tuesday 7th October at Sandbach Boys School which was well attended by a number of Patrons.

Despite being very pleased with our performance which received an excellent reception and standing ovation from certain quarters of the audience Foden's were placed 7th.

Congratulations to Black Dyke on becoming the Double Champions

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
