Speaking about the cd recording Musical Director Michael Fowles commented 'The catalyst behind the project was ‘Odin-from the Land of Fire and Ice’ by Arthur Butterworth which was last used as a test piece at the National Finals in 1989.The track list is a mix of old and new, with three of the six major works enjoying 1st studio recordings as well as Howard Snell’s immense arrangement of ‘Entry of the Gods into Valhalla.'  This is the bands first major cd release since 2012 and we hope this helps maintain our reputation at the forefront of band recordings.'

Thanks to funding from Arts Council England Foden's have produced a video outlining the product material as well as thoughts and ideas behind the project.

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
