Robert FlemingRob Fleming grew up on the Wirral and began to play the tenor horn at the age of 8, he quickly went on to join the Wirral Schools and Port Sunlight Lyceum brass bands, progressing to solo horn in both bands.

Rob went on to study music at Huddersfield and Liverpool Universities gaining experience in lots of bands and ensembles and joined Northop Silver band in 2001 for a successful and enjoyable 5-year spell.

In 2006, Rob was invited and accepted to play 2nd horn for Fodens band and later progressed onto 1st horn.

Apart from playing for the band, Rob is a brass teacher and conductor for the Liverpool Music Support Service and Studying part time for masters degree in music at Liverpool University. Robs other musical experiences vary from playing in solo recitals, to being a member of the well established 10 piece group Liverpool Brass Ensemble, to playing in the Manchester Jazz festival with the group Tarnished Silver.

In his spare time Rob is an avid Everton Supporter and looks forward the next time we finish above Liverpool in the League (which will be soon!!)
