Many thanks for another time consuming trip to Armagh. An excellent concert in the Market Place on Saturday evening. The contingent from Poyntzpass Silver thoroughly enjoyed the night.

Thank you Fodens for a great concert in Armagh on Saturday 6th February 2010. A great weekend by all accounts. The concert on Saturday evening was enjoyed by all who were there. Tom Whyte Chairman Garvey Silver Band (Lisburn).

Lions Youth Brass had a great 2nd place at Butlins yesterday with a little help from their Fodens connections. Thanks to Les for playing with us and to Mike Fowles who assisted with rehearsals.

Congratulation all you Space Invaders. Thanks so much to you all for the brilliant concert you gave along with Stanhope Band on Saturday. It was a fantastic occassion for all our players and supporters, and made a great ending to our 2009 Festival of Brass. A huge THANK YOU to each & every one of you from everyone connected with Stanhope Band. Congratulations on a great result at Brass In Concert too. (Impressive run starting for the Bass section !!) Congratulations to Captain Kirk and his crew for taking first place at the Brass in concert world championships at the Sage Gateshead. The band sounded fantastic and you beamed us all up to another level!! :-) I already cant wait till next years performance, both the contest and the gala concert the night before!! Well done again :-)

I would just like to thank the guys from Fodens who gave us their time at Castleton on Sunday, to do our workshops for the "Band for britain" BBC show. All of us at Dinnington Band appreciated the professionalism and attitudes the guys had towards the band.
It was such a pleasure to be shown where we were going "wrong", by such talented individuals, and the band as a whole sounded fantastic when we got together in the afternoon.
Many thanks again and a special thanks to Glyn from myself.
