Many thanks to the octet from Fodens who took the recent summer school in Armagh. They were a real inspiration to all those who attended including my son Sam. The enthusiasm of the band members at the solos concert on Thursday night was a real credit to the band and encouraged those whose first time it was on the stage on their own. We are all really looking forward to the annual concert in February 2010. |

Thanks again, all of you who made it such a worthwhile trip to the NWABBA Training Day today. We were really spoilt and, once again, you took our playing up several notches!
First question from the youngest in our group: "Are we coming again next time?" - which just about sums it up. |

Wonderful performance at St Thomas' Church on Saturday evening. I was talked into coming to see and hear you last year as I 'don't do' brass bands. This year I didn't need any persuading - brilliant! |
