North West Regional Championships 2008

The Fodens Band have made history again by winning this years ‘North West Regional Championships’ and becoming the most successful band ever to compete at the contest.

The Regional Championships, held in Blackpool on the 9th March, not only allow the winning band local bragging rights, but serve as a route to the Royal Albert Hall and the National Finals later this year.

Fending off local rivals The Fairey band, The Leyland band and the Wingates Band, Fodens not only achieved a record number of wins but also the elusive ‘hat-trick’, having won the contest in 2006 and 2007.

Fodens next contest outing will be the International Masters Championship in May where the band will be defending their title as Champions. In the meantime the band will be appearing at numerous venues throughout the country delivering high quality concerts and running education projects..
