As we enter a new year, the national champion band of Great Britain are looking forward to more exciting and enriching rehearsals & performances with it’s own Youth and Junior Bands.
Foden's are extremely pleased to announce that they have been successful in an application to the 'People's Postcode Trust' to purchase fixed recording and streaming equipment.
On Sunday 12th December Foden's held their annual Christmas Concert to a capacity audience of Patrons and supporters in Sandbach with a programme featuring original classics as well as a large number of new arrangements from the pen of John Barber.
Earlier this year Foden's were successful in an application to the Heritage Lottery. One of the projects within the funding was to arrange prints from a large number of glass negatives that would be displayed within a 'Foden's Museum.' Some of the negatives are over 110 years old!
On Saturday 20th November Foden's competed at the 'Brass in Concert' entertainment contest at the Saga, Gateshead which is regarded as the leading brass band entertainment contest in the World's banding calendar due to the quality of the bands invited to compete.
Foden's are thrilled to join the wave of congratulations for Professor John Wallace CBE in being awarded the 2021 Queen's Medal for Music. This is a richly deserved award for John who has dedicated much of his career to promoting arts education.

Foden's are pleased to announce that they have entered into a partnership with the highly respected mouthpiece manufacturer Mercer and Barker.
Earlier this year Foden's were successful in an application to the 'Heritage Lottery' to fund a number of 'Heritage Projects.' One of the projects was for young people to work towards an 'explore arts award' (which is a Nationally recognised award) using Foden's as inspiration.
