On Friday 24th January Foden's performed at the RNCM Brass Band Festival. The festival is regarded as one of the most important festivals of brass band music in the World featuring a number of the UK's leading bands, new commissions, ground breaking performances of contemporary repertoire as well as classics of the brass band repertoire. The Festival is the only place to see all of Britain’s top brass bands in a non-competitive environment.

Once again Foden's performed a demanding programme covering a wide range of styles and genres where they were conducted by Michael Fowles and Russell Gray .

Edward Gregson - Dances and Arias
Granville Bantock - Prometheus Unbound
John Pickard - Eden

Oliver Waespi - The Raid
Paul Mealor - Ubi Caritas
Philip Wilby - Paginini Variations

Foden's would like to thank the RNCM for once again hosting the Brass Band Festival, Paul Hindmarsh for his artistic vision and input and 4barsrest for their review of our appearance.

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
