Adrian is an experienced brass repairer who has been based in St Helens since 2018 where he currently plays Bass Trombone with the Rainford Band.

In 1999 Adrian started work for Besson at their Edgeware Factory where he was tasked with resolving many of the Country wide instruments which had mechanical and cosmetic issues during the Lottery Grant era. He also worked in the finishing department on the final assembly for the Prestige Cornet/Euphonium and Trombone range. The Prestige range resulted in Adrian working closely with Roger Webster with whom they developed the Prestige cornet as well as designing a Tenor Trombone with Nick Hudson. Adrian has also worked for FH Lambert Plating and lacquering company and despite becoming self employed in 2012 continued working for Rosehill Instruments, Tom and Will Watson at Prozone as well as being an approved repairer for Edwards Trombones.

Over the years Adrian has built up a close working relationship with leading freelance and West End Musicians as well as developing working relationships with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra where he maintains all their Trombone and Tuba instruments. Adrian also supports SHYBB ensuring instruments are available for new and current players.

Speaking about the partnership Adrian commented ‘It is an honour to become a partner of the World famous Foden’s Band and I am looking forward to developing a close working relationship with their members and offering assistance with repairs.’

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
