In 2016 Foden's were successful in an application to Arts Council England through ‘Grants for the Arts’ for a “Three Year Strategic Music and Audience Development Plan 2016-2019”.
A brand new and uplifting four-part docuseries has been announced by Sky Arts today that will follow Britain’s biggest and most celebrated Brass Bands and their larger-than-life members as they prepare to compete in some of Britain’s most prestigious Brass Band competitions.
Following on from the recent concerts and tv appearances where the band commemorated the life of Edwin Firth (former Principal Cornet player with Foden's who lost his life serving his country on the 1st June 1918), the story has now reached the National Press.
