In 2016 Foden’s were successful in an application to Arts Council England through ‘Grants for the Arts’ for a ‘Three Year Strategic Music and Audience Development Plan.’ Included in the application was a plan to run a non-competitive Youth Festival.

North West Area champion Foden's will team up with Roberts Bakery Band to help raise funds for the Lions Youth Band's trip to the 2019 European Championships in Montreux.
Foden’s Band are delighted to announce details of their 8th Open Solo, Duet, and Quartet competition, on Saturday 3rd of November. The competition continues to grow in popularity, and Foden’s Band is very proud that it maintains it’s reputation as one of the best events of it’s kind in the country.
On Friday 20th April Foden's will accompany four shortlisted finalists in a live broadcast from the RNCM commencing at 8pm. As well as providing accompaniment we will perform a short entertaining programme whilst the Judges deliberate over the performances.
BBC Radio 2 has announced the names of the four players who have been selected to go through to the final of this year's Young Brass Award on the 20th April to be held at the RNCM.
