On Saturday 15th October Fodens conducted by Allan Withington competed in the 'National Championship of Great Britain' held at the Royal Albert Hall, London where each band performed the set test piece 'Breath of Souls' by Paul Lovatt Cooper.
Fodens were drawn 20th (the last band to play) and were subsequently placed 7th by the Judges David Read MBE, Luc Vertommen and Rob Wiffen
