Fodens Bass Trombone player Simon Minshall has recently been awarded the 1st Bass Trombone position with the 'National Youth Orchestra' as well as being offered the 'Section Principal' role.
Simon joined the 'NYO' in January 2008 and is delighted with his recent appointment following his audition with Peter Gane and John Miller in London last week.
Simon joined Fodens aged 14 and has established himself as one of the countries hottest young talents.
The 'NYO' is considered one of the best Youth Orchestras in the world and Fodens would like to congratulate Simon on his fantastic appointment.
