2017 marks the 30th anniversary of the 'Foden's Patron Society' which now boasts over 400 members.
In January Foden's participated in the prestigious 'Brass Band Festival' at the RNCM
The first weekend in February had become a special time in the Foden's calendar, for the past 17 years the band have travelled to Armagh, Northern Ireland at the invitation of Ivor Stevenson MBE a Vice President of the band.
Following last years victory at the North West Area Foden's have confirmed that Prof Nicholas Childs has once again been engaged to defend their title on the 26th February.
On the 12th February Foden's players will hold a training day at Keele University which has been organised by the Music and Music Technology Departments at the University.

On Saturday 28th January Foden's were invited to perform at the prestigious RNCM 'Brass Band Festival' to a capacity audience. The band were once again conducted by guest conductor James Gourlay as well as Michael Fowles.
In October 2016 Foden's released a cd entitled 'Of Gods and Kings' at the National Finals to critical acclaim.
