On Thursday 29th November Foden's performed at Glossopdale School as part of commemorations to mark the centenary since the end of WW1
On the 17th November Foden's appeared in concert at the Sage Gateshead alongside their friends Matt Ford and Mike Lovatt
Following their recent Nationals victory Foden's have announced that they have engaged the services of Russell Gray to lead the band at the North West Area, British Open and National Finals in 2019. Russell is a former Principal Cornet of Foden's and was their Musical Director in 2002 / 2003
On Thursday 29th November Glossopdale School, Glossop will hold a concert to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War featuring the 2018 National Brass Band Champions, Foden’s Band, and performances from Glossopdale students.
Foden's have been informed that their 'Memories of Christmas' CD recording with Matt Ford has won the 'BBW Christmas CD' of the year
In June Foden's were privileged to accompany the fantastic Mike Lovatt on his first solo recording '56 Degrees North'.
On Saturday 17th November Foden's will perform the Gala Concert at The Sage, Gateshead with Matt Ford in a programme entitled 'Salute to Sinatra and The Swing Legends.' Foden's will also be joined by their special guest, Trumpeter Mike Lovatt who will release his eagerly awaited cd '56 Degrees North' at this concert.
In 2016 Foden’s were successful in an application to Arts Council England through ‘Grants for the Arts’ for a ‘Three Year Strategic Music and Audience Development Plan.’ Included in the application was a plan to run a non-competitive Youth Festival.
On Friday 9th November a Quartet from Foden's were invited to perform on BBC 'Live Lessons'
