Foden’s Band are pleased to announce the release of ‘Welcome to the Bandroom’, a project funded through Arts Council England, designed to create a definitive guide to the brass band that can be used by educators around the world for free!
From the first Whit Friday Marches in 1884, the event has grown in popularity.
In November 2020, Foden’s were successful in an application to the Arts Council through ‘Grants for the Arts.’ The funding allows the band to host a very special concert to commemorate the 10th anniversary of forming it’s very own youth band as well as a commission from the pen of Jonathan Bates. ...

As part of our European 3rd place prize, the band won a 'Geneva Heritage Cornet' in Lacquer.
In 2018 Foden's were crowned the 'National Champions of Great Britain' at the Royal Albert Hall with part of this prize being an invitation to represent England at the European Brass Band Championships to be held in Palanga, Lithuania.
Preparations are well under way for our appearance at the European Championships on the 30th April and 1st May
On the 27th April Foden's will appear in concert with the European Youth Band prior to representing England at the European Brass Band Championships to be held on the 30th April and 1st May at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
