Foden’s Band are pleased to announce that they have been successful in obtaining funding through Arts Council England’s National Lottery funded 'Catalyst' programme. The band have been awarded £17,819 towards a total project cost of £20,875.

In 2016 Foden's announced that they had been successful in an application to the 'Heritage Lottery Fund' for a 'Heritage and Digital Project' with work commencing in December '16 with a finished timeline of March '18.
Edwin Firth was born at Skipton on 23rd December 1888 into a banding family. His grandfather, Greenwood Firth, had been solo trombone with Black Dyke for twenty-five years, while his father Squire Firth had been a cornet player with the same band.
