Last weekend Foden's Band were back in the studio for a double header of work which will mean you will soon hear and see us on your TV screens.

On Saturday 30th April, a group of 10 players travelled to Leeds to record the BBC's long running 'Songs of Praise' programme. The main episode will be aired next November.

The following day, the full band were recorded at 80 Hertz Studios in Manchester under the baton of Andrew Duncan. The purpose of the recording was to record a selection of audio tracks scored for brass band by Andy Duncan to be used by TV and Film companies as backing tracks for their programmes. A wide variety of music was recorded and could be picked up by any producers. So next time you hear a brass band on the TV, it could well be Foden's!

For any conductor and every audience, Foden’s Band is a musical Magic Carpet. It continually takes the listener to places that few other ensembles rarely even approach Howard Snell
